Inspired by this woman, and trying to be less uptight about all the bloody, bloody mess, the other day we dug for worms. And made mud. It was fun. And very, very messy.
Looks like SO much fun but I totally get your comment about trying to be less uptight about the mess. I struggle with the same thing sometimes. I don't mind it if it's outside but when we're indoors I turn into a bit of a nag :-( So there are times when I really just have to let myself go with the flow and remind myself that my son is growing so quickly and to just enjoy the the mess. x
How much fun to play in the mud! I know it's completely not necessary, but I keep thinking of building my little guy a "mud pie kitchen" to combine his love of dirt and wooden spoons in one place.
