Lola: Upon being asked if she could sort out the mess in her room, she responded firmly, "I am not a cleaning machine." Teenager much?
Pearl: I looked questioningly at the two little girls in the bath and the flood on the bathroom floor. Pearl's defence - "One of us is responsible but both of us are not responsible."
Stella: I asked her, "Do you know how much I love you? It's a really, really big number, maybe as big as a million. Can you guess?" She thinks for a moment. "Is it 18?"

Oh that is just too cute! They sound awesome! Visiting via Che and Fidel! : )
ReplyDeleteLove the comments! They remind me of some my grandchildren have made. Sometimes we don't realise just how verbal they are and how much they take in. Your little ones are growing up.
ReplyDeleteI used to mind my granddaughter, now 12, for two days a week for several years. I arrived one morning with a horrible headache caused by a stiff neck. I was sitting on their lounge taking it easy, or trying to, before the day really began. Lounge backed on to stairs with rails and open space.
I was not impressed when she jumped through the space onto my shoulders.
Her comment when I protested was , "You not a happy chappy today, Ganma." Still only two years old then.
Love these portraits - your little Stella just looks so scoop-up-able in that last one. And the hats - gorgeous! These are my favourite portraits this week xx
