Liebster Loving

I mentioned yesterday that a lovely blogger gave me an award. Thanks, Colette. You are very nice and I am quite chuffed. And that you think I am straight-talking pleases me no end, given my tendency to waffle often and regularly ;)

Colette, for those of you who haven't found her yet, is a mum of two little cuties from London. She sews and crochets beautiful stuff. Which is why I like her blog so much. Go check it out! It's a nice place to visit.

Apparently the Liebster is for blogs of less than 200 followers, and these are the rules:

1. Thank the giver and link back to her/him.
2. Reveal your top picks and leave a comment on their blog.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Have faith that your followers will spread the love too!

So now for my picks. Go check them out.

Annie at Four Happy Hens is a beautiful knitter with the most amazing vegetable garden. She's a city girl from America but I always forget that because there's so much country goodness on her blog.

Vanessa is raising her two boys on the Central Coast of NSW, and doing an amazing job of it. She's also a food writer and cooks the most incredible food. Her blog is called Finding That Place Called Home.

Tahnee from Milk Please Mum tagged me recently for a blog questionnaire. I haven't got around to that yet, but in the meantime I'll send this award her way. She's a mum to three beautiful kids - the littlest just had his first birthday. She writes beautifully and takes amazing photos.

And finally, Nicole from Milk and Manna. Not only is Nicole a midwife (I have a very soft spot for midwives - my mum was one) but she's just had her second baby, little Joy. She and her family live in Western Australia.

So there you go. Now for the awards after party... Is there an after party? Maybe there's an Oscars one still going somewhere that I can crash. Or perhaps I'll have an early night.

  1. Oh, go on! I'm voting after party with at least one pretty drink before the early night!

  2. Oh thank you for the kudos, Greer! I'm flattered (:

  3. There must be a party somewhere... put on you best dress girl! x

  4. Thanks Greer! It truly surprises me that anyone visits my space in blogland... x

  5. Oh Greer, I must have been in nodland when I read this post, because I suddenly realised that I should have done something with your lovely award, not just thank you. So I've come back and yes, I didn't follow the rules! So, my next post will be linking back to you with my top picks! (Am I the only one out there who skim reads??)

I love comments. Thanks for yours!
